This is a hot track, it has a 70s Funk to it. I'm interested to see what Ne-Yo has in store for his new album since I wasn't really feelin his last one.
Bun B comes hard on the track with his signature flow, and the beat is sick. The Jodeci sample is clean. However, I have a problem with Sugar claiming that he is the baddest pimp since Pimp C. Come on man... then you have the nerve to come through with a verse that sounds like the Pimp wrote it. That pi$$es me off just a little bit.
Usher is trying to make his comeback, but he has an up hill battle.....no pun intended, i'm serious. It's a good track, but guys like Trey Songs, Mario, and Ne-Yo have been killing the R&B game in Mr. Raymond's absence. I'm not counting Usher out, but he needs to put out something stronger than what I have heard so far.
The Cool Kids are a breath of fresh air for Hip-Hop. I'm just glad to hear that there are rappers out in the game that just do it to have fun and not as a side business to their main job in the drug game which most rappers want to portray. Don't get me wrong these "Kids" are very good on the mic. It has an old school feel to it, and will keep your head nodding.
JOHNTA AUSTIN - SAY SO This guy knows how to craft a hit. He has done it for plenty of other singers and it sounds just a good when he does it himself. Definitely Check This Out!!

The track is humorous, and basically just addresses the numerous breakups in the hip-hop community and in the world today. I like the track 'cause the stuff he say on here, I've been saying it. Bun B just recently dropped his first single for his newest solo album, II Trill. He's waiting on Sean Kingston to come from Europe and then he says they'll shot the video for the single. The track, "That's Gangsta," is hot, and has Bun B rapping' about what is, and isn't gangsta. But what sticks out when I listen to the track is what I feel is definitely not gangsta...Sean Kingston! Prob shoulda got sumbody else to do the hook, but JR Rotem, Kingston's mentor did the beat so there you go. Anyway peep the track here, and you'll see what I mean.
Ne-Yo's First Single Off New Album: LeakedNe-Yo released, or someone has released the first single off off Ne-Yo's new album dropping in the summer titled, "The Year of the Gentleman." The track is called "Closer" and is inspired by Euro-Pop or Funky House after a recent trip to Europe by Ne-Yo. Funky House as I call it is the latest music craze out there in Europe, particularly the UK, and is a form of Electronica music that is similar to UK Garage. The genre uses a 4-to the-floor drum pattern and blends funky melodies and vocals. The sounds is quite reminiscent of radio these days, ala, the whole Timbaland, Timberlake, Flo-Rida, uptempo sound thats being going on lately. Anyway, Ne-Yo was inspired by all that, put his touch on it, and created his latest single. Peep it here on MF 3.0 and tell me if its poppin or not.

Dipset Is OVER!And we all saw it coming. 40 Cal and Jay Bezel done released a track titled "Dipset Is Ova" stating just that, and venting on the frustration with Jim Jones and Camron's beefing. In a recent interview they both said that their failure to not speak or come to terms with eachother has resulted in the whole Dipset failure. They said nobody's making money but Cam and Jones, and it ain't right. The true star of the group in my opinion, Juelz Santana also weighed in and put it like this. "When I came in the game, at 18, and was being treated in a certain way, it was cool, I had no money, I was new, and Cam was the one that got me out. Now, after some success, after some weight being gained, and I'm still being treated the same way? That just don't work." I understand what the man saying, they need to give Juelz his shine, and quit tripping. Either way, Juelz the only one signed to a major labor, as his new album is post to drop with Def Jam this year and his ex-comrade Jim Jones has rumors flying about him being dropped from Warner Bros without even releasing any material. Ouch. Hopefully all ends up well with the members, who knows, but I do know this, at the end of the track there's a SKULL GANG shoutout, so it look Julez's Skull Gang just got some new members.
R. Kelly Disses Ne-Yo On New TrackNow yall knew R. Kelly was hood right? No? Well I'm tellin' u he is. The boy don't play, just with little girls. No, I'm playin' but he really Kels talk greasy like the next man at that's exactly what he doin' on this track "I'm A Beast." Some highlights of Kel's "rap": Never been a snitch boy/ Never been a b*tch boy/ Why I gotta hate on you?/ Look at me I'm rich boy/ You need a steering wheel, the way you ridin my dick boy/ Say you're a go-getter/ Go get your own sh*t boy..." Aiight, so here's the run down. Apparently, last Friday Fat Joe, Papoose, Yo Gotti, Gucci Mane, and Cassidy was doing a show for a radio station out in North Carolina. Before the show, while at the hotel, Joey Crack wanted to find Papoose and question him 'bout sum disparaging remarks made towards him while on air back in NY with 50 Cent. Fat Joe roamed the hotel 'til he found Papoose in Cassidy's room and asked dude, "Do we got a problem?" Papoose, MANing up says, "If you want a problem, we can handle that." Apparently that's not the answer Joe was looking for an so the scuffle ensued. Now both parties have different accounts of how it went down, with Papoose coming out first sayin' Fat Joe was 8 men deep, and Papoose was only with 3 cats and wanted to fight one on one but Fat Joe refused. He then says that during the fight he got his hits in, and quote "put work on his chin." He also said on the radio station that he handled his business. Two days later Joey Crack responds with a video, after fake pics were floating around with him with a bruised face, sayin' Papoose is lying and that it was 4 on 4, and that his DJ went to the hospital, his bodyguard was bruised up and Papoose was bruised up. He also told media outlets that Fat Joe sat him down AFTER the beat down, Capo style, and told him why he got his @$$ beat and that they squashed it. Which Papoose does admit to. LOL, man. Now if you ask me...Papoose ain't hanging with Fat Joe, I mean look at the size of the kid. And the detail in which Joe spoke about the fight in leads me to believe that he telling the truth. He also said Cassidy and Gotti was there, and they'll let us know how it went down. Only time will tell.

Not gonna speak on this too much as yall know I think The Game is trying to publicize jail life and use this, for some odd reason, as promo for his new album. Well....what can I say. So far....I'm likin everything this dude is puttin out! This track right herre....this joint right here.....THIS JOINT RIGHT HERE......THIS IS DEATH!!!LOL But naw the beat is sick, his flow is decent, the BGV's are nice. The only thing I was a bit confused on was that part that the girl came in on....(you'll know what I mean when you listen.lol) I'm just sayin. But somethin still doesn't curl quite over with Trey for me.
I'm gonna have to give this one my HOTT D@#% this is hott!!! I know most of my crits have been pretty positive but I truly am feelin this joint oh man! This joint I would have to say takes the Wonder Woman joint by Trey up above. I'm proud of this kid for this....

Aparrently, Timbaland is planning to get married... to his publicist! On Nov. 21st, it was announced that his baby daughter was born. Timbaland and Monique Idlett have supposedly been dating for two years now, and are planning to get married soon... Congratulations to Timbo!

I heard Ghostface actually got a part in the new Ironman movie comin' out soon... I forget who's gonna play the infamous Tony Stark, but it won't be Ghostface, lol. Anyway, I heard he finished his part for the movie, and i think it's gonna be pretty hot...
Ne-Yo - Kicked off R. Kelly's "Double Up" Tour!
I don't know exactly what happened, but apparently Ne-Yo is supposed to keep the exact reason of why he got kicked off a secret... Rumors were that Kells wanted 7 dressing rooms for himself, and kinda left Ne-Yo without one... Other sources claim because Ne-Yo kept questioning R. Kelly's authority... Regardless, Ne-Yo is officially off the tour, and is now trying to do his own for his fans...
It SO sounds like the "Best of Both Worlds" tour with Jay-Z and y'all saw how that fizzled... Ne-Yo says he respect R. Kelly's music, but NOT R. Kelly as a man! That's pretty bold, but after that whole trial case with Kelly, among other things, I don't blame him.

So, you think Diddy has finally come to his senses after having his 6th child named Chance... That's just crazy... After his 3rd baby mama, he realizes he needs to marry someone... Rumor has it, Diddy is planning a to make a SPECTACULAR proposal any day now.
Diddy has supposedly already sent out invitations. There's going to be celebrities, camera crews, the whole sha-bang. If this is the case, Congrats to Diddy... finally.
