Busta IS Back, and is pulling out all of the spots. Always one to be different, Busta is late on this one and hooks up with Linkin Park for the single, "We Made It." The single is suppose to be the lead single for his upcoming album, Blessed, that is if the street single, "Don't Touch Me," doesn't grow bigger than this. Three of the top artists in the industry who have each crafted their niche in the game have hooked up for Usher's Make Love In The Club part 2. The song is less of a remix and more of a new song and I guess was created in order to generate more steam before Usher releases his album, finally. The track is hot, Beyonce outshines all of 'em as usual, and Lil Wayne sound like he saving a little too much for his Carter III album either way the track is hot and just shows the star power that Usher got.
R.Kelly's Hairbraider VideoWe finally get to see the chick who did this to his hair! J/k, but really. Kels next album will be called TP: 4th Quarter and is dropping in the summer. Should be a hot, like most of Kelly's album, but it always do seem when he put that Twelve Play name to it, it just elevate the status. Guess we'll have to see, 'til then enjoy the video.
The joint was already hot when Raheem dropped it as a single now R. Kelly done put his touch to it on the Customer (remix). When you first hear the track it was already reminiscent of a R. Kelly track so it only makes sense for him to jump on the remix. Raheem is really one of the promising R&B cats that knows how to make good music. It definitely won't hurt for him to collab with R. Kels just as long as they keep it strictly musically. No hair, fashion, or girl, I mean women tips. HA.

The Dream Needs Your LoveAlthough his album is banging, The Dream has been receiving TERRIBLE reviews for his segment on the Heart of the City Tour with Jay & Blige. City to city have been saying the Dream really ain't that good of singer, he can't move, etc. Despite all that, The Dream is pushing through and has just dropped his video for his third single, "I Love Your Girl" ft. label mate, Young Jeezy. This track is one of my favorites on the album, but definitely don't think it's gonna help ol boy push any more units. Maybe he's going for a European push. Either way, enjoy the video here.

Ying Yang Twins DropThe always animated duo of Ying Yang Twins are back doing what they do best with their new club song, "Drop." The song both similar and unlike any of their classic booty songs of the past is produced by Issac Hayes III, yeah the legendary Issac Hayes son, and uses a Beastie Boys sample. Man, I swear music is just comin full circle but anyway here's the kicker. After it's release just a little over a month ago on Myspace, as the Ying Yang Twins used the net before they offcialled decided on it to be a single or not, the song has been played over 30 million times! Very close to a Myspace record. Whether the song is hot or not, somebody likes it. Is this the year of the Ying Yang Twins? Their album, "2 Live Crew," a nod to the original Two Live Crew drops later this year.
This is a hot track, it has a 70s Funk to it. I'm interested to see what Ne-Yo has in store for his new album since I wasn't really feelin his last one.
Bun B comes hard on the track with his signature flow, and the beat is sick. The Jodeci sample is clean. However, I have a problem with Sugar claiming that he is the baddest pimp since Pimp C. Come on man... then you have the nerve to come through with a verse that sounds like the Pimp wrote it. That pi$$es me off just a little bit.
Usher is trying to make his comeback, but he has an up hill battle.....no pun intended, i'm serious. It's a good track, but guys like Trey Songs, Mario, and Ne-Yo have been killing the R&B game in Mr. Raymond's absence. I'm not counting Usher out, but he needs to put out something stronger than what I have heard so far.
The Cool Kids are a breath of fresh air for Hip-Hop. I'm just glad to hear that there are rappers out in the game that just do it to have fun and not as a side business to their main job in the drug game which most rappers want to portray. Don't get me wrong these "Kids" are very good on the mic. It has an old school feel to it, and will keep your head nodding.
JOHNTA AUSTIN - SAY SO This guy knows how to craft a hit. He has done it for plenty of other singers and it sounds just a good when he does it himself. Definitely Check This Out!!

New Bob Marley Flick On The WayThe Weinstein Company have just announced that they will begin production on the first ever bio-pic on the legendary Bob Marley. The movie will be based on the book, No Woman No Cry: My Life With Bob Marley, a book by Marley's widow, Rita Marley who will also serve as an executive producer. MTV BANS Gnarls Barkley's New VideoMTV Networks recently announced that none of their outlets will play Gnarls Barkley new video for their single "Run." But it's not banned for the reason you thinking. In fact the reason why MTV, VHI, and other such networks won't play the video, not like they play many videos anyway, is because it failed the standard Harding Test -- guidelines established to prevent TV images from triggering epileptic seizures. It's visual effects are the cause of the failed test and won't be shown until the problem is fixed. Young Buck - Dude Got Robbed?!
There was a WILD rumor out there that Young Buck from G-Unit got robbed... Rumor was that there was an argument, and Young Buck lost his watch, chain and somebody took his Bentley!... That's CRAZY...
This is what Buck said to AHH:
“Ain’t nobody robbed me for a thing... There was an altercation between me and a dude here in Tennessee and during that altercation, I lost a watch which came off my arm. But as far as someone taking my Bentley, my Bentley is sitting pretty without a scratch on it, right here in my driveway and my jewelry is right here too. I guess this is what people wanted to happen. I didn’t get robbed for anything.”
Buck also said that the dispute wasn't over money. “I don’t owe anyone money and the dude who I had the altercation with knows me and I know him and we already had our words since the altercation happened, so whoever is posting this or commenting on this recklessly is trying to take Buck down but you can’t take Buck down.”
I heard that a similar incident happened when he tried to sign a homie of his to G-Unit... homie got his chain snatched, and 50 said "fahgeddaboutit", lol. Guess that's not what happened with Buck.

Birdman - Arrested on Marijuana charges!
Not that it's that big a deal... You know all them rappers got their weed habit, but the deal is that 15people in his entourage got arrested! That's a big bust. All of them had about half an ounce of weed on 'em. The jailhouse got full REAL quick last night... In other words, most of Cash Money Records, promoter, Birdman's wife, Ronald Williams (CEO) among others minus Lil' Wayne got locked up on marijauna possession. Looks like Birdman is gonna need to use some of his 100 Million Dollars for bail money. Usher - New Baby Boy! Looks like Usher and Tomeka had their first baby boy born on Monday! Congrats to the couple. Great time to promote that new album, homie. Fabolous - Street Fam Member Murdered!
One of Fab's childhood friends and member of his Street Family team was stabbed to death inside Duvet, a popular New York nightclub early Friday morning.
Police in front of the club saw Shamel McKinney, stumble out of the club, bleeding from multiple stab wounds.
Witnesses said that as the while two other women fought, three men attacked McKinney and he died from his stab wounds at nearby Saint Vincent’s hospital. Cops found a 7-inch folding knife covered in blood in a dumpster near the club.
That's pretty ill... Condolescences go out to McKinney's family.

I know i said I was off this weekend... But Usher got secretly married last Friday. From what I heard, Tomeka Foster (Raymond) now forced the marriage and didn't sign the pre-nup like Usher's mom wanted... Guess y'all will get a recap Monday.
This Usher marriage situation gets more complex as time goes by. First, my boy, Future was talkin' about Tameka on some kinda "operation" tip, then her alledged past with a drug dealer. Now it seems it's the baby she's carrying that is holding up the wedding... I'd post it, but I don't want to post another article, if it wasn't confirmed as true. This one makes more sense and less scandalous, though. Alot of pressure with the pregnancy, etc.
Conspiracy Story: They never planned on getting married... The marriage idea is just for hype... who knows?

Another tidbit I found out today, that's gettin' me riled... Dr. Dre has been promising Detox since what, 2003? 4 years later, still no album and now it's being pushed back to next suumer. Hundreds of songs he's done for this album, and one isn't done yet... So much depth in this topic, i can't even get into tonight...

Usher - Tameka's Skeletons Alright. A lil' more light into Usher's former fiance's past... I'll let the Enquirer give you da scoop:
"Usher’s new bride, Tameka Foster, has a shocking criminal past that she has kept secret from the R&B singer, The Enquirer learned.
Tameka is an ex-con whose first lover was gunned down in a drug-related execution-style shooting.
“Poor Usher has no idea who he’s marrying,” Temeka’s half sister Valencia Foster told The Enquirer. “He’s a wonderful guy- but Tameka is giving him a big-time snow job.”
The scene for deception was set at a “getting to know the in-laws” dinner in Tameka’s hometown of Oakland, Calif., on July 7 as the couple finalized plans for a July 28 wedding.
Valencia, 49, explained that Usher led a prayer before dinner, then turned to her and said: “’You know all the family secrets- tell me about them.’ Before I could say a word, Tameka kicked me so hard under the table she almost put a hole in my leg,” Valencia said.
“Then she pulled me aside and whispered: ‘Don’t tell him anything.’”
Tameka, fleeing from a troubled home life, moved in with Valencia when she was 11. “She arrived with $14 in food stamps in her purse,” recalled Valencia. “She turned out to be a nightmare.”
By 14, she had become involved with a married drug dealer five years older than her, Valencia says.
“I banned him from the house – but four years later she was pregnant with his baby when his car was ambushed and he was riddled with bullets. Tameka missed being with him in the car by minutes.”
Court Records show that Tameka has been arrested twice. In 1991, she served 20 days in the Los Angeles County Jail for petty theft and was placed on probation for two years. Records indicate she had previously served jail time. An earlier arrest in Alameda County, Calif., involved “some kind of welfare fraud, and she was sentenced to perform community service,” said Valencia.
Tameka, Usher’s former wardrobe stylist, has three children and is expecting the singer’s baby in the fall. Usher, 28, recently shocked fans by reportedly firing his manager mother and replacing her with Tameka.
The 36-year-old bride asked her father, John Foster, to give her away at the wedding in the Hampton’s, the tony New York enclave. But Tameka threatened to ban her mom from the ceremony- because she had lost her false teeth! “Tameka told her: ‘You’re not coming to my wedding without teeth,’” Valencia said. “I asked her why she didn’t buy her mother a new set, and she told me: ‘Let her get her own (bleeping) teeth- she didn’t take care of me when I was young.’”
Valencia says Tameka’s mom bought the new teeth herself- and she believes one day Usher will discover the truth about his new bride."
