You know...now that I think about it...this song overall isn't that hott.lol I know I just did a complete about face on this joint but you have 3 hit makers and a good beat....thats it. It just doesn't do it for me. B and Ush sound great, Weezy is Weezy, but it's too much in the lyrics for me and I just don't believe a word they sayin. I know I got real deep on this one but I'm a big time critic. Just sayin. It's almost redundant. I know there just better not be another remix. The one with T.I. was nice and the original was cool. Busta IS Back, and is pulling out all of the spots. Always one to be different, Busta is late on this one and hooks up with Linkin Park for the single, "We Made It." The single is suppose to be the lead single for his upcoming album, Blessed, that is if the street single, "Don't Touch Me," doesn't grow bigger than this. Three of the top artists in the industry who have each crafted their niche in the game have hooked up for Usher's Make Love In The Club part 2. The song is less of a remix and more of a new song and I guess was created in order to generate more steam before Usher releases his album, finally. The track is hot, Beyonce outshines all of 'em as usual, and Lil Wayne sound like he saving a little too much for his Carter III album either way the track is hot and just shows the star power that Usher got.
R.Kelly's Hairbraider VideoWe finally get to see the chick who did this to his hair! J/k, but really. Kels next album will be called TP: 4th Quarter and is dropping in the summer. Should be a hot, like most of Kelly's album, but it always do seem when he put that Twelve Play name to it, it just elevate the status. Guess we'll have to see, 'til then enjoy the video.
The joint was already hot when Raheem dropped it as a single now R. Kelly done put his touch to it on the Customer (remix). When you first hear the track it was already reminiscent of a R. Kelly track so it only makes sense for him to jump on the remix. Raheem is really one of the promising R&B cats that knows how to make good music. It definitely won't hurt for him to collab with R. Kels just as long as they keep it strictly musically. No hair, fashion, or girl, I mean women tips. HA.

Many of yall probably have not heard this joint yet, unless u done copped the album E=MC2, but either way the track has already been blessed by Jay-Z and has been hitting the airwaves. Pretty solid joint, but what do you think? P.S. Did yall hear that MC and Nick Cannon might be engaged? WTF? I didn't even know they were dating. Props to Nick Cannon, yall gotta stop hatin' on him 'cause obviously he's pulling em. From Christian Milian, to Victoria Secret model, to MC? That's a high ass batting average.
The Dream Needs Your LoveAlthough his album is banging, The Dream has been receiving TERRIBLE reviews for his segment on the Heart of the City Tour with Jay & Blige. City to city have been saying the Dream really ain't that good of singer, he can't move, etc. Despite all that, The Dream is pushing through and has just dropped his video for his third single, "I Love Your Girl" ft. label mate, Young Jeezy. This track is one of my favorites on the album, but definitely don't think it's gonna help ol boy push any more units. Maybe he's going for a European push. Either way, enjoy the video here.

Ying Yang Twins DropThe always animated duo of Ying Yang Twins are back doing what they do best with their new club song, "Drop." The song both similar and unlike any of their classic booty songs of the past is produced by Issac Hayes III, yeah the legendary Issac Hayes son, and uses a Beastie Boys sample. Man, I swear music is just comin full circle but anyway here's the kicker. After it's release just a little over a month ago on Myspace, as the Ying Yang Twins used the net before they offcialled decided on it to be a single or not, the song has been played over 30 million times! Very close to a Myspace record. Whether the song is hot or not, somebody likes it. Is this the year of the Ying Yang Twins? Their album, "2 Live Crew," a nod to the original Two Live Crew drops later this year.
If you guys haven't heard yet... Jay-Z & Beyonce are now officially married. It went down yesterday. At first, i thought it might be a prank, but it seems pretty official now... That's what's up, though. Beyonce Carter... how that sound? lol

Ludacris Wants Us To Stay TogetherLudacris dropped this track just for the hell for it and reminds us what he should always be mentioned when talking about who's one of the nicest rappers out right the track. The track is humorous, and basically just addresses the numerous breakups in the hip-hop community and in the world today. I like the track 'cause the stuff he say on here, I've been saying it. Bun B just recently dropped his first single for his newest solo album, II Trill. He's waiting on Sean Kingston to come from Europe and then he says they'll shot the video for the single. The track, "That's Gangsta," is hot, and has Bun B rapping' about what is, and isn't gangsta. But what sticks out when I listen to the track is what I feel is definitely not gangsta...Sean Kingston! Prob shoulda got sumbody else to do the hook, but JR Rotem, Kingston's mentor did the beat so there you go. Anyway peep the track here, and you'll see what I mean.
Ne-Yo's First Single Off New Album: LeakedNe-Yo released, or someone has released the first single off off Ne-Yo's new album dropping in the summer titled, "The Year of the Gentleman." The track is called "Closer" and is inspired by Euro-Pop or Funky House after a recent trip to Europe by Ne-Yo. Funky House as I call it is the latest music craze out there in Europe, particularly the UK, and is a form of Electronica music that is similar to UK Garage. The genre uses a 4-to the-floor drum pattern and blends funky melodies and vocals. The sounds is quite reminiscent of radio these days, ala, the whole Timbaland, Timberlake, Flo-Rida, uptempo sound thats being going on lately. Anyway, Ne-Yo was inspired by all that, put his touch on it, and created his latest single. Peep it here on MF 3.0 and tell me if its poppin or not.
Shawty Lo's Done It AllShawty Lo trying to make some noise for his debut album with his second single, "Dun Dun". The track is hot, but it's definately not going to help him save his album from flop status. But hey, if he hook it up w/ a remix like he did with They Know, then well, you never know. Peep it here.

This is the label that launched the careers of Muddy Waters, Etta James and Chuck Berry. It is also said to include Cederic the Entertainer... Guess we'll see in the months to come...

Apparently, the main dude in the commercial was from the actual music video, so I guess Verizon got the rights to it...

Yo, I'm officially endorsing Cassidy's album tomorrow... well not really, but I'm really trying to promote this album! It's hot! It's not your regular Cassidy, but it's still something to be reckoned with. He shows ALOT of growth on this album, due to his incarceration and near-fatal car accident. After a story like that, you GOT to put out a dope album...

Kanye and 50 Cent will be performing their singles from their new albums. They will even have Stuart Scott of ESPN doin' commentary.

Tony Yayo - Did He Do It?
I don't remember if I went too much into this story (probably not), but a while back, Tony Yayo was accused of slapping up Jimmy Henchman's son. Game even made a diss track, talking about the situation. Henchman is Game's manager, by the way.
Now, somewhere out the blue, somebody comes to testify that he didn't do it. Similar to how R Kelly is trying to get off, having the girl say it wasn't her in the video. Probably got paid a couple G-Units to say it never happened. That's just my view, though. What do you think? More news when it comes available.
Jay-Z & B - Wedding Bells On The Way? According to Big J, he and Beyonce will probably be getting married soon. Possibly in Vegas... But he could be saying that to throw us off... JD/Janet and Usher/Tomeka have done plenty of that this year, lol. Guess we'll see... unless they already married. Probably not married yet, though.
Jay-Z might be leaving his President position at Def Jam, in order to join Def Jam co-founder Rick Rubin at Columbia.
People ask, "Why would Jay-Z leave Def Jam if he's the President?"
One of the reasons might be because Jermaine Dupri is now running a Def Jam subdivision, Island Records Urban Music Group.
Another reason, Beyonce is signed to Columbia Records.
According to The New York Daily News, Jay-Z will also be leaving Island Def Jam owning his entire catalog.
Recently, there was also a rumor that Jay-Z and Beyonce were in negotiations with Apple's iTunes to create a digital record label. Well see about that as time progresses.
