Usher Scores #1 Single In AmericaHe's baaaccckkkk. Usher has the new #1 single in America, unseating Flo-Rida's Low after 12weeks at the top. Usher posts the third-largest jump to No. 1 in Billboard Hot 100 history as "Love in This Club" featuring Young Jeezy, zooms 51-1. It also opens at No. 1 on Hot Digital Songs with 198,000 downloads, the largest first-week sum since Sean Kingston shifted 260,000 in the Aug. 11, 2007, issue. Usher's new album, "Here I Stand" drops in June and this is definately a HUGE boost. You heard it from me first when I said the boy needs to come extra hard with this new album for him to shake of all the bad press he got with the whole marriage fiasco and let me tell this is one big step in doing just that. Here go the single again, that we put yall on almost a month ago. MF 3.0 always come with the fresh joints first.

Usher - Love In The Club ft. Young Jeezy

New Bob Marley Flick On The WayThe Weinstein Company have just announced that they will begin production on the first ever bio-pic on the legendary Bob Marley. The movie will be based on the book, No Woman No Cry: My Life With Bob Marley, a book by Marley's widow, Rita Marley who will also serve as an executive producer. The book offers an intimate account of the Marleys' oft-tumultuous marriage and the Jamaican music star's rise from the streets of Kingston's Trenchtown to stirring it up as one of the 20th century's most acclaimed singer-songwriters before his untimely death from cancer at the age of 36. Also, Bob Marley's daughter-in-law Lauryn Hill is rumored to have a part in the movie and may play Rita Marley, herself.

MTV BANS Gnarls Barkley's New VideoMTV Networks recently announced that none of their outlets will play Gnarls Barkley new video for their single "Run." But it's not banned for the reason you thinking. In fact the reason why MTV, VHI, and other such networks won't play the video, not like they play many videos anyway, is because it failed the standard Harding Test -- guidelines established to prevent TV images from triggering epileptic seizures. It's visual effects are the cause of the failed test and won't be shown until the problem is fixed. Justin Timberlake makes a cameo in the video and MF 3.0 has it right here for you to get your "seizure" on. J/K

Birdman - Arrested on Marijuana charges!


Not that it's that big a deal... You know all them rappers got their weed habit, but the deal is that 15 people in his entourage got arrested! That's a big bust. All of them had about half an ounce of weed on 'em. The jailhouse got full REAL quick last night... In other words, most of Cash Money Records, promoter, Birdman's wife, Ronald Williams (CEO) among others minus Lil' Wayne got locked up on marijauna possession. Looks like Birdman is gonna need to use some of his 100 Million Dollars for bail money.

Usher - New Baby Boy!


Looks like Usher and Tomeka had their first baby boy born on Monday! Congrats to the couple. Great time to promote that new album, homie.

Fabolous - Street Fam Member Murdered!


One of Fab's childhood friends and member of his Street Family team was stabbed to death inside Duvet, a popular New York nightclub early Friday morning.

Police in front of the club saw Shamel McKinney, stumble out of the club, bleeding from multiple stab wounds.

Witnesses said that as the while two other women fought, three men attacked McKinney and he died from his stab wounds at nearby Saint Vincent’s hospital. Cops found a 7-inch folding knife covered in blood in a dumpster near the club.

That's pretty ill... Condolescences go out to McKinney's family.

Lauryn Hill - The Re-Education of Lauryn Hill!


People are still in awe in how Lauryn Hill made a classic album, "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill", won 5 grammies, then just fall off like that... Columbia Records has actually put out a mixtape out for her fans... I hope Lauryn can get back to THIS kinda music...

Interesting day today....

Fugees - Lauryn Killing Reunion?


It's rumored that Lauryn seems to be killing the whole reunion. She's wanting to produce tracks for the group now. That's not flying with 'Clef, though. The production has been mostly Wyclef doin' the beats, but now Lauryn is trying to break the format.

Wyclef tells interviewer:

"We did a remix [with] Lauryn for John Legend, for the record “How High.” John Legend was saying our names. You know what she had [him] do? She was like, “Take off Wyclef and Jerry’s names.” Because she wanted people to think that she was the one doing the beat…I’m a producer and I’m a beatmaker with my cousin Jerry Wonder, and I’m a writer. She’s a writer, a vocalist, [and] a great [vocal] composer. And she’s great at picking out samples—she got 20 billion samples but can’t chop ’em up to save her life."

Foxy Brown - Looking For New Label


So many stories about Foxy Brown and how her album, Black Roses was supposed to come out... It's been years now. Now, there's a rumor that Foxy will be signed to Akon's Konvict label... Guess we'll see...

Turk - Paroled!


Turk of Cash Money Records has been in jail for 3 years now, after plain clothes cops busted into his apartment, reportedly not identifying themselves as police. Needless to say, a gun battle had drawn and left his apartment looking like swiss cheese. He'll be released in November.
