Jay Z and Mary J. Blige are on tour together, so why not make another song together. That's exactly what they got here with "You're Welcome" produced by the monster Swizz Beats. Typical Jay, typical Mary J, but yo that means it's typical hotness. Don't know if its a main single meant to push any albums, someone correct me if this joint is on Mary J's album, but I do feel it'll get play regardless. And plus now they got more songs to duet with on stage. Enjoy.

Leona Lewis: The New British Invasion

Now you know I gotta show love to my fellow Brits when I can, but this artist needs no bias when it comes to her work. The winner of Simon Cowell's X Factor show, a show similar to American Idol, but harder seein' as other factors such as dance, and appeal matter, Leona Lewis, took the UK and Europe by storm. Her cover of Kelly Clarkson's "Moment Like This" was the fastest selling and top single of 2006 in the UK, then her debut album Spirit, and first single beat her record and both became the fastest selling records of all time, and topped the charts in 2007. Now she headin' to the U.S. to come share the love. Backed by Simon Cowell, obviously, and Clive Davis, the legend, and a $10million investment, Leona Lewis is trying to repeat what she did out there. Her single, "Bleeding Love" was just released last week and has already cracked the Billboard 100, she is set to appear on Ameican Idol soon, and she just sang on Oprah this week, and u know how artist's stock always rises after the appear on Oprah. Common Rekindles The Lights

Common has revamped his joint, The Light, from 2000 which featured in the video Erykah Badu(my boy AB posted it last week for his bday) for Smirnoff Vodka's Signature Series Mix Cd. Once again Common can do no wrong on this track, and Just Blaze once again murdered the beat. Common really is one of the heavyweights in Hip Hop, more people better recognize, and the dude doin' movies now. He was in Smokin' Aces and American Gangster, but watch out for him in the upcoming movie with Angelina Jolie, Wanted, and Street Kings with Forest Whitaker.

Hip Hop Saved Lupe's Life

Now I know I posted on this dude last week about his Superstar remix track, but this dude just keeps comin' with it. Lupe Fiasco has finally released the follow up single to Superstar off his album The Cool and it's titled "Hip Hop Saved My Life." The joint is hot, the video is hot, and it just reminds how good Lupe can be. He a breath of fresh air every time I hear one of his tracks. Peep the video and track here and enjoy.

Dilly here with my all new WEDNESDAY spot. Now you know everyday you can get all the latest stuff on music at the ever-blazing Music Forecast blog but now you should know that when it's "Hump Day", it's time to see what extra helping of madness Dilly has in store for everybody.

Pimp C Death: Too Much Lean

I'm not gonna speak on this too much but it has been announced and ruled that Pimp C died of an accidental overdose. Apparently, Mr. Butler and taken some cough medication and with an ongoing breathing problem the combination proved to be deadly. To be honest, I am not surprised as this is what I expected in the beginning. But man, it's a shame. The much-hyped "LEAN" took out a legend.

Jay Z & Mary J. Blige Tour

Never to be outdone by his little brother, Kanye West, who just recently announced his "Glow In The Dark" Tour with N.E.R.D., Lupe Fiasco, and Rihanna. Jigga Man has announced that he is joining forces with Queen of R&B, Mary J. Blige. Details are still vague, but I'm sure when it comes 'round, this is going to be a hot ticket. Now I luv Jay-Z, but damn Jay just can't let nobody shine on their own, can he.

The Game Headin' To Jail

Now case you didn't know, I don't like The Game, I think he's lame and fake and should have given 50 his due credit instead of frontin' like he single-handedly made all his first joints. Anyways, The Game was last year was charged with making criminal threats, possessing a firearm in a school zone, and exhibiting a firearm in the presence of an officer after allegedly getting into a fight during a pick-up game of basketball. Previously pleading Not Gulilty after facing 5 years in jail, The Game agreed to a plea bargain and will now spend 4 MONTHS in jail. Now if you remember when I posted about Busta, who had so many charges that will have put him away for close to 10 years but walked, you would think The Game would try and do the same, but Nah, not dumba** Game. Game would rather plead guilty in court, even though he's "innocent" explaining,

"The crazy part about this is that I've had guns before in my life," he explained. "But this time, I didn't have a gun. And because one person said I had a gun and coaxed his homies into saying that I had a gun, I'm in a predicament where I'm asking, Do I want to spend another million dollars to fight this trial so who knows what jury's gonna come in and say I'm guilty? Or do I want to save my money, go sit down for four months and accept this felony they're trying to give me for no reason?"

Sounds like to me he just trying to go to jail to build up his "cred" and come out drop a new album and try and sell millions of records. Somebody tell him the game don't work like that no more. Thank god. Man, I can't wait for this cat to retire.

Ryan Leslie Is Ready

The man who discovered Cassie and made Diddy look good for .5 and who created a deafening buzz on Myspace and his blog, nextselection.com before blogs and myspace really took off is ready for his solo time. Ryan Leslie has been trying to get into the game on his own for awhile, after graduating from Harvard, yes Havard at 16, yes 16, no lie and shocking everybody and their mama when he said he was moving to NYC to pursure singing. He made his way in the game making beats, crafting joints for Beyonce, New Edition, 112, Cheri Dennis and other Bad Boy artists and then grew a following in Europe that love RL like he Chris Brown. Well not quite but they do like his joints. Peep my fav. song of his "Overdose" below.

Long story short, the U.S. are finally given him a chance and is set to drop his album in June and has the industry buzzing with his track "Diamond Girl." The lead single is unexpected burning up radio waves and remixes have been poppin' up left and right. Listen to the track here, and remember where u heard it at.

Weezy never stop rapping. That's a fact. Mr. Carter got this acapella freestyle floating around the net and video portals and it's called Dr. Carter. People loving it so much now they gonna record it. One of the people who caught wind of this was Swizz Beatz who told Wayne he got a beat that he need to build this song on. The track was for Jay-Z's Kingdome Come album has flatlines, and heartbeat sounds throughout the beat and was intended to have that "Save The Game" vibe Jay Z was going with back then. Well now it's going to the other Carter and MF3.0 we'll have it soon as it's out, 'til then here go the freestyle.

Usher tryin' to gain some heat

Usher. The man who needs to seriously come with it on his next album in order to overcome his damage image after the marriage fiasco has two tracks floating around. Now apparently the lead single for his upcoming album was suppose to be "Make It Rain" with T-Pain but after two, three months being out w/out any steam being picked up the Usher camp has released another joint that is the new lead single. The song features Young Jeezy and is called, wait for it..."Make Love In The Club." Lol, yeah I know but the song is hot, still can't figure out what's missing though. Peep both tracks there.

Janelle Monae: New R&B?

Janelle Monae is all kind of crazy but her sound is infectious. Starting out with making tracks on Purple Ribbon All Stars Got Purp vol. 2 and making a cameo on Idlewild Sdtk. Janelle made enough noise to get signed by Diddy on Bad Boy and is getting play with her track Violet Stars Happy Hunting. This girl is fly but ever since she got signed she done flipped her style and did sumtin' crazy to her hair as you can see in the pictures. Anyway, her music is still something to listen to. These boys made noise with their Just Blaze endorsed album "School Was My Hustle," spawning the underground hit, "Till Tha Wheels Fall Off." Now they back w/ their unique, and another throw back to the "Golden Age" of Hip-Hop sound with their track "Driving Down The Block." Similar to The Cool Kidz, but different in their own right, check the track here.

If you haven't heard of this man, then it's about time you do. In '05 Raheem dropped a classic album that was highly slept on titled, The Love Experience. If you ain't got it I advised you to run out to the store n go cop it or go to amazon.com order it, or download it. Anyway, he's back w/ a new album and new single, and this time he's supposedly suppose to get the right promo. Either way the joint is a banger. There's also a remix out there w/ Papoose on it...but it's Papoose so I prob. won't post it. HA. Anyway, Shout outs to all the women out there who be up on their music.

Erykah Badu is back w/ a new single that's about to burn up the radio...hopefully. She's due to release a yet to be titled album early '08 and right now is workin' w/ a lot of different producers including the late J Dilla, 9th Wonder, and SaRa. This joint right is vintage Badu and should bring her back to the light. Ayo, have any of yall heard that rumor/joke about Badu that's like, "don't look directly into her eyes otherwise she'll make you start wearin' loud colors, and shoulder pads." Ha, it's suppose to be in reference to how Andre 3000 & Common's styled started flipping out while dating her. Anyway, I thought it was funny.

Now I know yall don't know Estelle, but you soon will. She's a UK rapper/singer who just signed w/ John Legend's newly launched label, Homeschool Records. John Legend who just started workin' on his follow-up to his double platinum, Once Again, signed Estelle when the two collabed on a joint that didn't make the cut for his latest album. Estelle is best known for her album "1980" which spawned a modest hit out there in the UK. All her music is pretty hot so far, and her sound is a breath of fresh air. What yall think?

NY's Saigon is putting his final touches on his highly anticpated, and delayed project w/ Just Blaze. Anyway, so I am across this banger called Come On Baby ft. Swizz Beatz and who else but Jay-Z, the only man doing ANYTHING for NY, on the track. It's a pretty hot track but I still don't know if its gonna help push any units. On Tuesday, Nicole S. from the Pussycat Dolls and Freeway are gonna drop....and FLOP. I luv me sum Nicole Scherzinger but compared to what she had with the PCD, she ain't got NO buzz. The only joint that made any noise was the one w/ T.I. Whatever You Like, but as we all know by now, one single ain't enough. She does have some ballad joint out w/ somebody collabing but I can't think of what it's even called let alone if I've heard it. Have you? And Freeway, has a single even been released yet?...With all that noise about being executive produced by his "big bros" 50 and Jay this man if finna drop with virtually no pub. But whose album got quite a few promo just two weeks ago, cough cough, Jay Z, cough, cough. Gaw what are they really doin' over there w/ them Roc Boys.

Mos Def - Collabo with Kanye West

Mos Def is wanting Kanye to do for him, with what he did for Common. Ever since Common and 'Ye got together it's been unstoppable. Imagine the possibilities w/ Mos Def and 'Ye together. I don't know bout yall but I luved Two Words off of College Dropout and "Drunken Hot Girls" is my ish too, lol, so it should be real exciting to see what they can cook up. Also, this man Mos apparently has EIGHT, yes count 'em, EIGHT upcoming movies through 2009. That boy doin' it man.
