Now, my gift to YOU guys is a wonderful track from ya boi Bobby V. That's right...he's baaack! Back with the very sound that we all fell in luv with on his self-titled album, Bobby Valentino. That's right...I sure did skip over that 2nd one didn't I? Now don't get me wrong, Anonymous was fiya! But such a misrepresentation of the rest of the album. "Mmmmm not so much". Key phrase by yours truly to remember.lol

However, after hearing this joint below, be expecting great things from Bobby V. No joke. This leaked track You're Not Alone is fiya! Go DJ! Nah, that's not MY DJ.After being late for an appearance in Richmond, VA, Friday (Jan. 25) due to his legal woes, Lil Wayne once arriving on stage made his frustrations clear by ripping into members of his entourage. Weezy, documented on video, goes on to rant and rave about how some members of his "entourage" weren't there for him, and how he don't need them 'cause he got the crowd. He then prompts the whole audience to follow him in giving his crew a big "F**k You." The video just adds to the recent madness, entertaining, but madness that is Lil Wayne and is highlighted with Wayne throwing his jacket directly at the head of his DJ. See for yourself here.

Kanye West: Glow In The Dark Tour?

I've been waitin' for an announcement for a tour for a minute now, but although no announcement still hasn't been made, there is a flyer going around that may be part of the promo for Ye's new tour. The poster bills Kanye as the headliner with Rihanna, N.E.R.D., and Lupe Fiasco has supporting acts...when and if this happens, you can definitely count me in. I don't buy cds, but I buy show tickets :)

50 Says, "You Ain't Crazy"
The man who's been relatively quiet for a man of his stature is trying to make some noise with this track U Ain't Crazy and I don't think this is the one to do it. 50 is doing what 50 on this track and I think it would have been a good joint a few years back but now it's kinda like...man I'm waitin' for you to rap about something else. Lenny Kravitz new album (It Is Time for a Love Revolution) in stores February 5th. Kravitz has proven through each album that he is able to evolve, but still keep that Rock & Roll funk in his songs. This is a must have album, and seems to be some of his best work.

Could it be? One of the greatest rock bands of all time going for another world tour, it seems like a dream to many. Jimmy Page and lead singer Robert plant say after their success of their reunion concert last month they are ready for serious gigs. Considered by many to be the " Hard Rock Kings", buzz about a new tour would send millions worldwide into a frenzy. Fans will have to wait until the end of the year before they see the legend of Robert Plant and the god of guitar Jimmy Page on stage.

Although it may be 2008, It's only fair to give this band credit for their efforts on their 2006 release Stadium Arcadium. The Red Hot Chili Peppers are still smoking from their 1987 debut album. 2006 and 2007 were huge for the Peppers, playing concerts and selling out to "Woodstock" size audiences, show just the level RHCP is at.To say the very least, these guys are ageless. Stadium Arcadium's 28 tracks show that The Chili Peppers are still Red Hot. Millions remain ecstatic about a hopeful album release in late 08. After multi platinum albums, How much more can this band do? Stadium Arcadium proves to be one of their strongest albums to date, but history shows, these guys only get stronger.

This is the label that launched the careers of Muddy Waters, Etta James and Chuck Berry. It is also said to include Cederic the Entertainer... Guess we'll see in the months to come...

Lil Wayne arrested, AGAIN!ABC News reports:

Rapper Lil Wayne has been arrested in Yuma County, Ariz., on drug charges, law enforcement sources told ABC News. The rapper, 25, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, was traveling in his tour bus near Dateland, Ariz., Tuesday, when it was stopped at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint on Interstate 8. Around 11:30 p.m. a Border Patrol dog signaled the possible presence of drugs, and the bus was directed to a secondary inspection lane, where the bus was consensually searched. After a search by the Border Patrol canine, agents reported finding 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine, 41 grams of ecstasy and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia. Agents also found $22,000 in cash on the bus.

Now, I know you's a rapstar, and think you's a rockstar, but damn it Weezy, have some sense. I was just tellin' myself how I was actually getting excited about Carter III droppin' next month but now with this who knows what'll happen. We'll keep you posted.

Diddy...nah call me Sean JohnThe man who forever entertains me announced today that he is thinkin' about changing is name, again. Rap mogul, formerly known as Sean Combs, then Puff Daddy, then P. Diddy, then Diddy is thinkin' about changin' his name to Sean John, the same name as his clothing line. Diddy, I mean Sean was quoted as sayin' he evolves over time and so his name changes with the evolution...whatever, all I know is I am gonna watch his new MTB show premiering some time soon.

Busta Rhymes escapes jail timeI don't know how he did it, but he did. Busta Rhymes, faced with two counts of assault, a DUI and driving with a suspended license, managed to plead down all the charges this morning. Busta will now serve three concurrent years of probation, ten days of community service and pay a $750 fine. Back in July, the rapper rejected a plea deal that would have put him in jail for one year. Whoever this man lawyer is, is the s**t. T.I. and Lil Wayne need to holla at that man. Keep in mind 3 or 4 white celebrites have just finsihed jail sentences for DUI charges, add that with TWO counts of assault I was for sure my homey Busta was goin to Jail. Apparently not, and I'm glad, now hopefully he'll act right and get back to the music.

Today is Martin Luther King Day and I've found some tracks that some may find either appropriate or inappropriate. Regardless, this man was at born black or African-American. New joints from Michael Jackson.

Other than that, MJ will have his 25th anniversary ablum of Thriller released sometime next month. Keep in mind, that these are for promotional use only. Michael had a tremendous impact on music back in the day and he has plenty more where this came from. Go out and purchase that next month.

R&N - 1/19/08 - Exclusives

Kanye's Kids SisterNow I heard about this chick a little while back and tried to ignore her but it seems like I just can't. I saw her pop up on my MTV Jams with her outrageous video to her apparent club hit "Pro Nails" ft. Kanye West. The track is a wild, fast paced track similar to a Lil Mama joint, who she oddly resembles in the video just an albino version. (You'll see what I'm talkin about in the video). This FeMC is from Chi-Town, hence the cosign from Kanye West but I really can't see what he likin'. The song is almost to cheesy to take serious. This joint was on Kanye's Can't Tell Em Nutin' mixtape from the summer and was one of the tracks I skipped over so I tried to pay attenton to today, and yeah, still don't get that whole Chicago/Baltimore club scene. Let me know if yall figure it out, peep the video here. Oh in case if you were wonderin' what Kid Sister was, I thought she was white, she's half black/half latino or white...

Timbaland still crankin' them out

Timbo, took off time from his steroid usage, ha j/k, to shoot a video to "Scream" his joint with Nicole S and Keri Hilson. My guess is, Nicole S needs to pick up steam for her debut album which was pushed back from last year to this year, and Keri is trying to create a buzz so she can actually release an album. Anyway, this was one of my fav. tracks on the album,and the girls is hott, so is the video. Peep.

Nate Dogg Suffers Stroke




















According to an official report from memebers inside of Nate Dogg's camp, the singer suffered a mild stroke last month in his home. He was treated at Panoma Valley Hospital from December 19th to the 26th. The singer was left paralyzed on the left side of his body. He is now recovering at an undisclosed rehab facility. The good news is that Nate Dogg has not suffered any brain damage, and his singing voice is unaffected. Let's all send out our prayers to a true legend in the game.


No More Money In The Bank For Banks And Mobb Deep




















Apparently, 50 Cent could be cleaning house over at G-Unit. While this is just a rumor, it isn't too far fetched considering the dismal numbers both acts have to show on their last studio efforts. I can understand the Imfamous Mobb since I really can't remember anything they have done since Shook Ones and that came out in '95. Oh and the Quiet Storm. Ok maybe that's a bit harsh, but on the other side of this, I thought that 50 and Banks were really good friends. I didn't see this coming. Sometimes it's just business.
